I started my writing in Fantasy before branching out to speculative fiction.  I have since picked up poetry, children's stories, and science fiction.  I have played around with historical fiction but have yet to attempt a full work (I would want to research my topic thoroughly)

I hope to keep adding to this in the years to come.

At the moment, adventure stories categorized best as low-ish fantasy and speculative fiction.  I chip away at science fiction and poetry when stuck, or write a children's story when the mood strikes (having a toddler and a dog has that effect sometimes).

My first work is the one I cut my teeth on in almost every way, even literally.  I learned so much about the importance of outlining stories, character arcs, and the goal of a story before even starting the first chapter.  I did write a sequel, once, but it remains on the back burner and in need of heavy rework.  One day I hope to return to that first world my imagination spawned, but in the meantime I am writing stories that were done after I learned some hard lessons of the craft.

I hope for one or two a month.  I will not commit to it.  Blogging needs to take a backseat to writing and everything else more important in my life than writing.
