I graduated in 2012 from University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelors in Computer Science and a Minor in Business Administration. My first stabs at writing starting in college and were born from disagreements with those who believed that there was a specific, dogmatic way writing "should be" done. My reaction to dogmatism and narrow focus still drives my approach to the craft. I consider myself a neo-classical writer who is not afraid to attempt modern or postmodern style.
I have spent the last eleven years as a professional Software Engineer by day and an unprofessional writer by night and weekend. I have published one work, written many more, and hope to publish again soon. My works include fantasy, speculative fiction, science fiction, poetry, and most recently children's stories.
I live in the DFW area, where I spend my non-writing and non-work time with my wife, child, dog, and grill. I have a fondness for music, despite being unable to read a single note, and enjoy cool November evenings on my porch with meat on the smoker and whiskey in hand.
